Yunoki Samiro, a Japanese textile designer, a “master”, wanted to celebrate his 97th birthday this year in Paris and so, and exhibition was organized at the gallery Etienne de Causans, rue de Seine, with his works and some other Japanese and French artists’ works.
There, two of my paper masks were also exhibited! One of a monkey (Saru) and one of a Kappa (a legendary figure from the Japanese foklore). Good trip for them to Paris in September!
